Rated 5 out of 5 by golem216 Overall Excellent Phone with Fast Charging
I was a little concerned with battery life considering the 4K display, but battery life is decent. It mostly lasts through a single day with moderate use. The battery life may have been a dealbreaker, but due to the fast charging it is only a minor negative.
The camera works great with good quality and fast focusing. I haven't used the video that much, but seems adequate.
The main thing that bugs me with the phone is with a software feature called clip tray. It cannot be disabled and when used in conjunction with a password manager, it can stored credentials in plain text.
I can manually remove the entries, but I would prefer to be able to disable it. Other apps could potentially capture the content, but they would have no context for what the text would be for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dave Nice, but...
First the good! Great screen, works well for watching youtube, Netflix, games, pictures. Battery holds up well so far. I like the buttons and tapping the phone on and off. No accidental turning on yet. Remote works very well for my TV/Roku. Camera resolution is good, takes pictures quickly with the right setting. Bluetooth works great. Lots of memory and very fast operation.
The not so good. Would like some more exposure options on the camera, especially while recording video. Wifi calling cuts out often, I just switch to network if I know I'm making a call. The Smart Tips preloaded to help you work your phone better are just short and QUICK videos showing you what the phone could do. Not very useful. AND you have to get a case or it will slip right out of your hand. Also kinda expensive but I bought for the high-res camera that shoots quick for my kids.

Very good phone. Love the camera (and camera short cut without unlocking phone) and the screen. But phone is disappointingly slow and sluggish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Quickdawn Still a flagship phone in 2015
For a phone that has come out in 2014 as a flagship from LG, it still pushes out competition gives the new runners a run for the spot.
Sporting an amazing IPS QHD (2560 x1440) colors are very accurate. 5.5 inches squeezed into a body set for a 5.1 inch screen.
Light weight, good construction, it is plastic but it doesn't bend or sound loose.
Camera is good reproducing clear pictures, laser focus is fast and on point. OIS is on board and helps with shaky hands to take great pictures.
Performance is good the 801 SD along with 3gb ram keeps the screen pixels going along with video and games with minimal stutter. Some frame drops happen when a lot is happening but it doesn't bring it to a crawl.
UI is good its hybrid skin between google's very own UI and some old elements of the Optimus UI from days past. Over all its not too much the icons are pleasant and so is the UI language thru out the OS.
Battery is ok at best. With that many pixels to push and the processor being a generation behind the 805 SD I can see why the battery heats up. Thermal throttling happens a lot, which again is understandable having to push that many pixels. The phone tends to stay on the warm side getting at best 16 hrs out of the day with moderate use and 3 hrs of screen on time.
Call quality can be a little of a hit and miss, I have heard numerous of times that the person on the other line can barely hear me only for me to have to re connect the call in other for the microphone to work properly again. I'm not sure why this is.
USB charging port is weird when I first tried to connect it and charger cable i tried to push in didn't want to go in until I learned that if I tilt the head of the USB cable going connects it fine, not sure if this is a design flaw or not.
Android 4.4.2 was buggy at best it had Bluetooth issues with META data being pushed out not being read correctly, I wished LG would have pushed 4.4.4 where google corrected these issues out. None the less Lollipop is aroudn the corner still waiting on my TMOBILE carrier to push out.
Over almost a year the phone is great it has one of the best screens around with minimal bezels and in a body not bigger then a Galaxy S 5. I would still recommend a G3 to anybody wanting a clean android experience and good performance. It still can put up a fight against the onslaught of newer android and apple devices and holds its own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PC Simplified & excellent
Loving this phone! Very smart design and great software customization.
I don't miss over complicated, illogical menu and side buttons on my old phone. Battery lasts much longer than my old phone too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by frostimus Outstanding, as expected.
I had the LG G2 and loved the phone and it's features. When I had the opportunity to upgrade it was an easy decision to go with the G3.
The phone is great as expected and I continue to be happy with it.
