Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 26 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's a good paperweight I got the LG Cosmos in early 2011. Being in middle school at the time, the phone served all of my needs - decent texting and such. It had - still has - a great battery life. Sometimes it lasts up to a week, even with heavy use. It's been dropped (and survived) so many times, it might as well have been a Nokia. Over the past year, however, it's taken a nosedive. Its call quality is terrible. Half of the time I can't make out what my conversational partner is saying. Most of the keys (e, a, and n, especially) have become unreliable, either not responding, or overshooting and inserting about 10 of each letter in a text. Sometimes, it doesn't even receive calls. It's on, and so is the sound, but the calls go straight to voicemail. This happens in areas where both my phone and the person calling me have service. Finally, it's begun restarting repeatedly. Not only this, but it re-receives the last message received upon every restart. This continues until the phone runs out of memory. Two days ago, I sat staring at my phone for three hours while it had a seizure, and when it was finished, I had 85 copies of one text. If you're looking for a stable phone that does what you need consistently, this ain't it. February 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is the best phone I've used I've had this phone for 3 years and it's still in good shape. It's showing some wear on it, but it's a good phone. I use my phone alot and several times, I've timed how long it is from the time I fully charge the phone until it dies and needs to be recharged, and it's consistantly around 113 hours. Any phone that can go 5 1/2 days on one charge is a good phone, even with a 3 year old battery. This phone is compact, will last a long time, and is a really nice phone. January 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best phone I have ever had I loved my env touch so when that stopped working I was really upset. But I found this nifty little phone on amazon and decided I would give it a try. I love this phone. It texts calls and is extremely durable. I would recommend this phone to anyone who just wants to talk and text. December 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall, a good, reliable phone I had one of these for 1 1/2 years, and got a service message from my provider saying i was off my contract. I have now had it for about 4 months afterward because I enjoy the use of the phone. the only reason I might get a new one is because I was dumb enough to take it swimming with me, more likely to replace the shot battery and continue to use it though. Highly recommend this phone. June 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Real Workhorse I've had this phone for 4 1/2 years and the battery is just now giving out....still works as good as the day I got it....a real workhorse! It's tough, durable, easy to use....the only downfall is the camera....terrible quality pics but good phone overall April 13, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Would NOT buy again Thought I would love the qwerty keypad...wrong! The buttons are too small & have a curved surface. This means you cannot easily type on them. I can't even use my fingertips...instead, I have to use my fingernails, which isn't comfortable or speedy. The camera takes lousy pictures. The battery drains quickly because the phone's screen is always being turned on in my pocket, due to the exterior buttons being pushed while it gets jostled around. And the worst thing of all: a lot of dust has somehow gradually accumulated UNDER the screen, which means there is NO way to remove it! Between that & the screen getting scratched up over time, it is VERY hard to use the screen outdoors, especially. Also, the system lags between the time you press a button & it responds. Oh, & the front number keys aren't easy to use, due to their wavy, slanted design. Avoid this one...I wish I would've! October 4, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing, long-lasting, superb phone I have had this phone for two in a half years, although I have a 2-yr contract. I decided not to change it yet because it was awesome. It is greeat for texting and calling---volume excellent--- and photos. The downside is the internet connection---not to great---... BUT. if you are the person wanting to use the internet daily get a smartphone. this is a basic phone, and is great for the basic stuff it's supposed to be used for. After 2 yrs yes it has gone a bit bad...a few of the keyboard buttons are not working, but I can't expect it to be working forever. I am about to get a new phone now, but this phone I reccomand to parents not into phones and not into data plans. And also this phone is terrific for kids from ages 10 to 12. After 12, they like more of a smart phone type. But it's ur decision! :) August 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall, A Really Good Phone I have had this phone through Verizon for about a year & a half. I text way more than I talk on the phone and it's been wonderful to text on. The battery life is nice and long (since I don't talk on it alot) and I can get over a week on a charge. The only problem I have with it is the speaker phone button- it's WAY too easy to push because it is raised and right above the send button. I can't even tell you how many times I've pushed the speaker phone button by accident! But other than that I really, really like the phone and will probably upgrade to the Cosmos 2 when I upgrade.
