Answer:
For anyone who has this common problem. The float is on a lever, it is supposed to move up as the tank fills activating a micro switch for a light or just a simple colored indicator. You can use a spray silicone on the axis of the float. Work the float and lever to make sure it is smooth motion. Don't use Vaseline or a heavy grease, because it will cause it to stick. Occaisonly the lever is rubbing on the side of the tank or the lever, rubs on the side of the unit or the tank. I have gently adjusted the lever away from the side of the tank, but be careful it is plastic and can break very easily. Sometimes you can just work the lever through the full range of motion and work it into a smooth movement.

Answer:
Super easy. Unscrew the black cap on the back of the machine, take the plug out. Take the bucket out, place the plug in the inside of the machine and screw the cap in place. Put the bucket back in place. Screw a regular garden hose onto the back of the machine, turn it on, and forget about it because it will do all the work!!

Answer:
Remove the hose connector cover and cap from the hose connector of the rear grille, on the back of the unit. Install the hose connector cap and cover on the drain pan. Connect a garden hose to the rear grille. The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting. Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector. Use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the plastic threads.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this dehumidifier. If the water is not being diverted from the tank to the hose, then it is likely that the seal between the unit and the drain pipe is not secure against leaks. Check this pipe seal. This is typically the only thing that could cause such a problem.

My model # is LHD459ELY9 Dehumid.

It is attached to a hose, but there doesn't seem to be a small pipe down into the bucket and I have to empty the bucket every day. I do not have a instruction booklet so I can't see the iner part of the Dehumid. to see what I could be misssing.
