There may be no audio output from Windows due to sound being muted, incorrect sound output configuration, or an audio driver error.
First, check the sound settings, and if the issue persists, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the audio driver.

- The volume is muted or set too low in Windows.
- The audio output in Windows is not set to [Speaker].
- Due to an audio driver error, the speaker icon is not activated and thus volume cannot be controlled.

Checking [Sound settings] in Windows 11
On the right side of the task bar, right click on the [Speaker] icon and select [Sound Settings].
In the [System > Sound] menu, use the mouse to adjust the [Volume] and check if you can hear dinging sounds.
Click [Choose Where to Play Sound] and select [Speaker].
Check the [General > Audio] menu to see if which of [Allow/Don’t Allow] is enabled. ※ If it says [Allow], then no sound will be heard.
In the [Output Settings] menu, click [Test] to check if the sound is heard.
Right click with the mouse button on the [Speaker] icon on the right side of the task bar. Select [Troubleshoot sound problems] and click [Next].

Removing the sound driver in Device Manager
After typing [ Device Manager]in the taskbar search box, click [ Device Manager].
In the [Sound, Video and Game Controller] menu, select [Realtek(R) Audio] and then click [ Uninstall Device]
※ A different sound device is used for each model, so please make sure to check the detailed specifications of the product. (e.g. [Conexant HD Audio] and other devices exist.)
[ □ Delete the driver software for this device.] Uncheck the checkbox and then click [Uninstall].

3. Select [Select All] and proceed to [Install].
Installing the audio driver using the LG Update Center app (Models released before April 2022)
1. Using the task bar search field, find and select [ LG Update Center] app.
2. Run the [ LG Update Center] app to select [All List] > [Update Necessary].
3. Check [Select All] or the [Audio driver] menu and proceed with installation.
Installing the audio driver with the LG DnA Center Plus app (Models released before April 2022)
1. Using the task bar search field, find and select [ LG DnA Center Plus] app.
2. Run the [ LG DnA Center Plus] app. When you see the message, [I have something to install.], select [Installation].
