   1. Promotion Period: Entries for the giveaways will be accepted only during the timeframes indicated above. Any entries made outside of this time are not eligible for this giveaway promotions.

   2. No purchase necessary: The giveaway is free to enter to all UAE residents that meet the eligibility criteria set out in these terms and conditions.

Eligibility criteria

1. These giveaway promotions are only open to entrants residing in the UAEand aged 18 or over. Employees of LG global companies, their families and agents, and any other company(ies) or person(s) involved in the creation or administration of the giveaway are not permitted to enter. Internet access and having social media accounts are required for entry.


2. By following the instructions provided in the giveaway, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. All decisions made by LG regarding the winners and prizes are final. LG will not enter into correspondence in relation to explaining winner selections and prizes.


3. LG has the right to reject a participant’s entry as LG deems appropriate. Reasons that LG might have for rejecting an entry include, but are not necessarily limited to, the entry including or being any of the following:

    a. The use of false or other people’s personal information for entry.

    b. Duplicate entries.

    c. Content that is not the original work of the participant.

    d. Content that has previously been submitted in any competition.

    e. An entry containing the following, as determined by LGE,

        A. Sexually explicit or suggestive; unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group; profane or pornographic; contains nudity.
        B. Alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing).
        C. Any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous.
        D. Any particular political agenda or message.
        E. Obscene or offensive material; any form of hate or hate group.
        F. Defaming, misrepresenting or disparaging remarks about other people or companies.
        G. Communication of messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill with which LGE wishes to associate and/or violates any law or is unethical or illegal.
        H. Mention or pictures of brands competitive with LGE, such as Samsung, Sony, Motorola, HTC, Google, Nokia, Blackberry, Apple, etc.
       I. Content that includes trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by the participant or material that is used without permission (including but not limited to company names, photographs, motion picture or television program clips or audio clips, songs, music compositions, lyrics, works of art, or images published on or in websites, television, movies, or other media) or that otherwise infringes or violates the rights of any third party, including but not limited to, copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, logos, contract and licensing rights, rights of publicity or privacy, moral rights, or any other intellectual property rights.
         J. Content that contains any use of the names, emblems, likenesses, photographs, or other identifying elements, in whole or in part, of any person, living, or dead without permission. (Proof of which the participant must provide to LGE if LGE requests.)

    f. Entries submitted outside the submission timeframe indicated in these terms and conditions.
   g. Illegible entries.
   h. Incomplete entries.
    i. Entries sent through agencies or third parties or by means other than Facebook or Instagram.


4. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries. If LG believes that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, LG will, at their sole discretion, be entitled to withhold the prize and select another winner in accordance with these terms and conditions.

5. The winner will be contacted by LG once selected via a Facebook or Instagram comment left on the original giveaway post requesting details be sent via private message. It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure the details they provide are accurate and LG will not be responsible for delivery failure where participants have provided incorrect or incomplete delivery information, or fails to sign for delivery, as required.

3. Selection process: LG, in its discretion, will select the prize winners from among the qualifying entries. Examples of the criteria LG is likely to consider in selecting prize winners includes use of required hashtags, tagging friends in the submission, including a comment in the submission, relevance to the campaign theme, quality of content, originality of content, and number of social interactions with the submission.  Social interactions that appear to be from non-genuine social media accounts, particularly social media accounts that appear to have been made for the purpose of following or responding to content (e.g., generating “likes”) will not be counted toward the volume of a submission’s social interactions.

4. The winners will be asked to provide relevant contact information including, but not limited to telephone number in order contact the winner of the prizes or organize a collection (this shall be at LG’s discretion and in alliance with relevant Data Protection Laws).

6. The winner may be expected to participate in LG’s publicity related to the giveaway. The name and social media account of the winner may be published on LG.com and/or LG social media sites. Images submitted by participants, as well as the winners’ content including photograph, film and/or recording of the same may be featured on LG’s official social channels for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this giveaway promotion.

7. The participants are solely responsible for the content and confirm that they are the owner of all rights pertaining to the content. They must not upload any content not originally created by them, or any content which is not properly licensed to them by someone else.

8. LG will not be liable to perform any of its obligations under the giveaway or in respect of the prize where they are unable to do so as a result of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond LG’s reasonable control, and whilst LG may (but shall not be obliged to) endeavor to provide an alternative prize of equal value, LG shall not be liable to provide additional compensation to the winners in such circumstances.

9. Should LG be unable to reasonably contact the winner, or should the winner fail to respond to attempts to contact them within two days of the first message or the winner is unable to accept the prize, the prize will be forfeited and LG reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.

10. No exchange: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative. The prize is subject to availability and LG reserves the right to change the prize at any time.

12. Liability: Save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, LG cannot accept any responsibility for any damages, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by an entrant as a result of entering the giveaway.

13. Amendment/cancellation: LG reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions and/or to amend, suspend, withdraw or cancel the giveaway at any time and without prior notice.

14. Governing law: The giveaway is governed by the laws of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes which may arise out of, under or in connection with the giveaway.
