Innovative Features Cater to Everyday User Needs
LG’s InstaView Door-in-Door™ refrigerator also boasts a variety of features aimed to make consumer life easier as well as keep food in an optimal state. The refrigerator utilizes a door-mounted Slim Spaceplus™ Ice System to produce ready-to-use ice while providing greater refrigerator space as well as more room in the door shelf. Extra space allows consumers to place daily food items such as sliced ham, cheeses and butter within easy reach. Users can also more utilize the space in more creative ways through the Folding Shelf, which can be adjusted to allow users to store tall, bulky bottles or pots. Within the refrigerator, the InstaView Door-in-Door™ comes equipped with Hygiene Fresh+™2 to eliminate potentially contaminated air, unpleasant odors, and 99.999 percent of the bacteria3 inside.
Moreover, the unique Inverter Linear Compressor, which is backed by a 10-year warranty, lowers the energy consumption of LG refrigerators 32 percent and noise 25 percent4 due to less internal friction, alongside greater reliability and durability. While other refrigerators typically come with the less efficient conventional reciprocating drive, the linear piston drive used by LG’s Inverter Linear Compressor is what produces these remarkable differences.
