LG Electronics (LG) has expanded its SUPER ULTRA HD TV series with the launch of its new 55UF851T and 65UF851T 3D SUPER UHD TVs. The 55-inch (55UF851T) and 65-inch (65UF851T) screens are the first in the region to boast a premium rose gold finish. As part of LG's premium TV family, the Ultra HD TV screens feature LG's CINEMA SCREEN and ULTRA Luminance technology, and bring content to life in 4K 3D+ Ultra HD quality.

Designed for discerning consumers who are keen on having the most immersive entertainment experience, without upsetting the aesthetics in their homes, the ultra slim rose gold screens elevate home entertainment to a new level.

The 55- and 65-inch screens boast 4K Upscaler technology that automatically enhances the quality and detail of standard definition content to near 4K quality. Both screens are also 4K 60P HEVC capable, which means that 4K video can be viewed clear and blur-free at 60 frames per second. This feature allows consumers to enjoy 4K quality content via USB storage or Internet streaming without requiring additional hardware.

Picture quality is further enhanced thanks to LG's ULTRA Luminance technology that constantly analyzes the brightest and darkest parts of the content, with the goal of improving the extended expression range of brightness with higher peaks and enhanced contrast ratios. Based on LG's 4K IPS panel, the TVs also render detailed images that are viewable at extremely wide viewing angles.

The SUPER UHD TVs feature CINEMA SCREEN technology, which offers a more cinematic viewing experience by reducing the size of the outer bezel to the bare minimum, while premium audio immersion is guaranteed thanks to sound designed by Harmon/Kardon and Ultra Surround technology.

The rose gold screens complete their premium presentation with LG's webOS 2.0 Smart TV user interface. The interface delivers faster switching, new quick settings, offers additional content searches without interruption, and boasts quicker booting and loading times. Consumer ease-of-use is further ensured via LG's magic remote, which makes controlling the TV as easy as using a computer mouse.

LG's rose gold SUPER UHD TVs are now available in the UAE at prices of AED 9,999 for the 55-inch (55UF851T) and AED 12,999 for the 65-inch (65UF851T).
