LG Electronics offers free power-board replacement service on 18 TV models which were produced from Feb. 2016 to Sept. 2019, so as to prevent any possible overheating issue.
The reason of the Overheating issue is the increase in the current supply within the power board caused by performance degradation of some models and parts.
Although the above overheating issue may occur on only few models, LG has decided to offer free part replacement service for the customer’s full satisfaction.
Except for below 18 TV models, other TV set models are not included in the free replacement service.
