Press the Allow Auto Update button to automatically update the software whenever a software update is available.
Try this
Go to [Settings] and then [General] and select the Customer Support menu.
You can check the TV model name on the TV information screen.
How to download the software from the website
① Go to the LG Electronics website (https://www.lge.com), click on Customer Support, and then select Driver S/W.
② In the model name search box, enter a model name using at least 3 characters.
Select the desired model name from the search results to download the correct file.
③ Save the latest version of the software.
Before downloading a file, be sure to check the details by clicking on the file title.
Saving software to a USB storage device
Now save the downloaded software file to a USB storage device.
① Select the downloaded file, right-click on it, and select [Extract here] to extract the file.
② Connect the USB storage device to the PC and create a folder named [LG_DTV].
Save the software file to the [LG_DTV] folder in the USB storage device.
Upgrading the TV software using a USB storage device
① If you connect a USB device containing the LG_DTV folder to the USB port on your TV, a message will appear asking whether to update the TV software.
Select the Install button to start downloading.
If you already have the latest version installed in the TV, no change will be made.
② The installation continues in the background. (You can watch the TV while the update is in progress.)
Do not unplug the power cord during the update.
When the update is complete, a pop-up appears (expected time required: 1 to 20 minutes).
To check the progress of the update, Go to General and then Customer Support.
