Is there any power-on timer set?
If the TV is left untouched for more than 2 hours after it was turned on with a power-on timer, the power is
automatically turned off.
It is a power-saving feature, so you can be assured that there is no problem with the product.
Is there any power-off timer set?
If there is any power-off timer set in place, the power is automatically turned off at the set time.
You can go to the Select Function or Timer menu to cancel the timer.
2. Disable HDMI-CEC (Simplink)
- Go to Settings > All Settings > General > Simplink (HDMI-CEC) .
- Turn off Simplink . Sometimes, connected devices may send signals to turn the TV on or off via HDMI-CEC.
3. Check for Scheduled On/Off
- Go to Settings > All Settings > Timers .
- Make sure Sleep Timer or Auto Power On/Off is turned off if you don’t want the TV to turn on or off at scheduled times.
4. Unplug TV for a Hard Reset
- Unplug your LG TV for 1-2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- This resets any temporary issues that may be affecting the TV's power.
5. Perform a Factory Reset

If none of the above steps work, perform a
Factory Reset
to restore the TV to its default settings:
- Go to Settings > All Settings > General > Reset to Initial Settings .
- Follow the prompts to reset the TV.
