Do you see mosaic patterns on the screen?
To determine if the screen issue on your TV is related to the signal or content, go to the [Settings] menu
and select [Picture] to check the picture test screens.
If you find a mosaic effect on the picture test screens, this means the symptom is caused by image
compression, indicating that it is not a defect of the TV itself.
The images shown in the picture test are compressed from the original size of 6 megabytes (MB) to 580
kilobytes (KB). During the compression process, block noise can occur, resulting in parts of the screen
appearing as mosaics.
If you have a high-definition image that is 6 MB or larger, you can transfer the file to a USB storage
device and play it on the TV to view a clear image without any mosaic effect.
For a comparison, you can save a low-resolution image of 1 MB or less on the USB storage device and play it
on the TV: You may observe a mosaic effect similar to what you see on the picture test screens.
This is due to the difference in the original image quality and is not a defect of the TV. You can continue
to use the TV with ease of mind.
You can check the file size on your PC and view its properties by right-clicking on it.
This guide was created for all models, so the images or content may be different from your product.
