Are you hearing a whirring, rumbling, or rattling noise? Does the noise become louder suddenly?
When the projector starts, it is normal to hear an electric noise from internal circuits or a whirring sound from the fan.
However, if you experience a rattling noise, check if the product is securely fastened to the brackets or tripod.
If you encounter blowing sound or unusually loud noise, please follow the instructions below.
Causes and Symptoms
- Inside the product, a fan runs at high speed to cool down the components.
Try this
Is the air vent possibly obstructed by any objects?
➔ Please remove any objects obstructing the air vent to ensure proper airflow.
Projectors generate internal heat due to the use of light for image projection.
The fan rotates at high speed to draw in air and cool the heat generated internally.
Placing the product in a poorly ventilated location or using it with a clogged vent can cause the fan to rotate at a higher speed, resulting in excessive noise.
In this case, it is recommended to relocate the projector to a well-ventilated area and ensure that there are no objects obstructing
the vent to facilitate smooth air exchange between the inside and outside of the product.
If the internal parts are overheated, the risk of product failure or fire significantly increases.
Please ensure that the product is well-ventilated through smooth air exchange.
Is the location where the product is installed particularly hot?
➔ Open the window to improve ventilation.
When the indoor temperature is high, the efficiency of ventilation decreases as the fan is required to use hot air for cooling.
If the indoor temperature exceeds 40℃ (104℉), the product may power off to mitigate the risk of product failure or fire.
In case of high indoor temperatures, it is recommended to open windows to allow the fresh air to circulate inside.
If the product has been used for an extended period, it is advisable to turn off the power and allow the internal components to cool down.
Noise may become louder when you turn off the Power Saving Mode.
In Altitude Mode, the noise level of the product may increase as the fan is programmed to draw in more air to compensate for the reduced air density.
