[LG TV panel] Is there a gap between the panel and the cabinet even though you have not touched the screen?

Troubleshooting

In addition, even when an impact from the front is applied to the screen, there are many cases where a gap between the panel and the cabinet is more impact resistant than where the two are in close contact.

Causes and Symptoms

➔ In cases of LED and LCD TVs, there is a possibility that a space will appear between the screen (liquid crystal, panel) and the cabinet.

This symptom is not a malfunction, but a design feature of products that use the S-IPS panel.
The IPS panel has an advantageous structure for the dispersion of light, great for securing viewing angles, but if the screen is pressed, the image on the screen may look smudged,
so the panel is designed to have a gap between the panel and the cabinet in order to prevent such a symptom.

※ Excessive impact or contact with a sharp object may cause damage to the screen. Practice caution.
