What is the Time Machine feature?
➔ You can utilize the Time Machine function while watching analog broadcasting, digital broadcasting, and external input videos.
This function allows you to save the current program on the hard disk and view it later.
Also, even if you leave the TV for a moment and come back, you can view the program starting from the location where you left.
Please note that the Time Machine recording is only available for digital broadcasting channels.
Cases where the Time Machine recording may not work
- The recording function cannot be used for copy-protected programs.
- If you switch the channel less than 3 seconds after you save a new Time Machine schedule, the schedule will not be saved.
- If there is an issue with the data segments of the USB storage device, the Time Machine function may not work properly.
- Since the Time Machine temporarily stores content on the USB storage device,
previously saved Time Machine content will be discarded automatically when you switch to [External Input];
run Auto Channel; power off the TV; record a program; play music, photos, or movies recorded;
initialize the settings; change modes; use premium TV applications (apps). - During a recording session, the option [initialize USB Storage] is not available.
- To create a recording schedule, it is required to set a duration of 2 minutes or more.
- If you select [Exit] without selecting [Complete], the schedule will not be saved in the [Schedule List].
- If the number of schedules in [Schedule List] reaches 30, you cannot save schedules anymore.
- If the number of recordings in [Recording List] reaches 200, no more recording is allowed.
