Demo Mode or Display mode
Symptom
Not cooling even though Display on( “0 FF”)
How to fix
1) The way of checking Demo mode
When any button is pushed, “0 FF”
shows up on the display.
When there is no air flow inside while
The door switch is holded down with the R/door open
Unlock Demo mode : Open the R/door, and hold down “Refrigerator” and “Ice Plus” buttons on display at the same time for 10 sec.
2) Ask the customer if he/she has removed the protective plastic on the surface of the doors recently?
If the protective plastic is removed with the power on, static electricity occures
on the surface of the doors. When this happens the PCB tries to protect itself
locking the system as demo mode.
In this case, unplug the power cord for 15 Min. then, Plug it in again.
