[LG electric range] The buttons do not work

Troubleshooting

Doesn't the product respond when you press the [Element Size] button?
Is a ringing sound not heard and doesn't the product operate when you press the [Select] button?
Do only the [Power] button and the [Lock] button work?

[Lock] or [Child Lock] is a safety feature that stops the functions and the control panel of the electric range to prevent an accident or a failure due to due to inappropriate operations by children.
When the lock function is set, even if you press the touch button, it will not be recognized so that the surface of the electric range will not heat up.
The electric range operates properly only if you press the [Select] button when the number [0] blinks on the display after pressing the [Element Size] button.

[E] or [E1] is displayed on the display and the buttons do not work because there is a foreign object on the button or the button has been pressed for more than 9 seconds for more than 9 seconds.
In such cases, the electric range operates normally if you wipe off the touch button, press the [Power] button and use the electric range.

Does the number [0] not blink on the display and the product not respond when you press the [Element Size] button?

➔ Press the [Element Size] button correctly within its square shape.

When the [Element Size] button is pressed correctly, a ringing sound will be heard.
If not, press the button within its square shape.
If the product does not respond even though you pressed the button correctly, the electric range should be checked, so contact an LG Electronics service center.

Does [0] not blink and the product not respond when you press the [Select] button?

➔ Turn on the electric range and press the [Element Size] button first.

Before selecting the heating power, you must first select the burner to be used for cooking in order to operate the [Element Size] button.
Therefore, press the [Element Size] button, and when the number [0] blinks on the display, press the [Select] button.

If you used the [Select] button after pressing the [Element Size] button, or if the [Select] button does not respond even though the [Temporarily lower] function did not operate, the electric range should be checked, so contact an LG Electronics service center.

Does only the [Power] button or the [Lock] button work?

➔ Press and hold down the [Lock] button or the [Child Lock] button for 3 seconds to unlock.

If the product does not respond and there is a small red light on top of the [Lock] button or the [Child lock] button when pressing the Element Size button, the lock function of the electric range is set.
In such cases, press and hold down the [Lock] button or the [Child Lock] button for 3 seconds.
The light turns off and the lock function will be cancelled.
Also, you can cancel the lock function by disconnecting and reconnecting the power cord.
