A UE is an imbalance error which occurs when the laundry is stuck to one side or the washing machine is not level.
Try this
Did you wash a duvet or large laundry load using the Normal cycle?
➔ When you wash a duvet or large laundry load using the Normal cycle, the laundry is easily stuck to one side, resulting in a UE Error and a noise.
In particular, if you wash two or more duvets together or wash a duvet together with normal laundry, an unbalanced laundry load occurs due to a difference in the weight across the tub.
For duvets and large laundry, be sure to wash one item at a time using the Bedding course, and after water is supplied, press the laundry with your hand and wash it after making sure that it is completely submerged under the water.
Do not wash electric blankets, carpets, curtains, foot rugs, rubber mats, etc., as this may damage the washing machine as well as the laundry.
Did you use a laundry net?
➔ If you put the laundry in the laundry net and washed it alone, it may be stuck on one side, causing vibration, noise and a UE error.
Avoid using the laundry net alone; wash one or two laundry nets together with other laundry items. (It is not recommended that nets are washed together with a duvet.)
Does it spin slowly or simply stop spinning?
➔ If the laundry is stuck on one side or not level, the spin cycle may not operate and the washing machine may stop.
Check the following solutions and leveling methods for each laundry item.
-
Laundry nets: It is recommended to use a laundry net suited to the amount and size of each type of laundry, adding laundry to the point of filling only 2/3 of the laundry net.
When using a laundry net, avoid washing the net separately, and wash at least 2 or 3 laundry nets with different clothing types.
Incorrect laundry net use may cause damage to the washing machine and laundry or excessive vibration or noise. -
Duvets: If you wash two or more duvets or wash a duvet together with normal laundry, they may become tangled or stuck on one side due to differences in the materials.
Wash one duvet at a time using the Bedding course. -
Normal laundry: If you add excessive amounts of laundry or the laundry becomes tangled, the laundry may become stuck on one side.
If the laundry becomes stuck on one side, remove some of the laundry, evenly spread the remaining laundry and operate the washing machine again. - A small amount of normal laundry: If you add too small an amount of laundry, the laundry may become stuck on one side. Add more laundry, evenly spread the laundry and operate the washing machine again.
-
Puffer jackets: For bulky and light laundry, washing the laundry without it being submerged under water may damage the fabric or cause the laundry to become stuck on one side.
Wash the laundry after submerging it under water. -
Knitwear: If small laundry absorbs lots of water, washing only 1 piece can cause the laundry to become stuck on one side.
Wash two or more knitwear at a time. -
Laundry balls: Adding excessive laundry balls may cause abnormal vibration and noise.
Add only the number of laundry balls recommended by each laundry ball manufacturer.
When washing laundry such as laundry nets and large duvets, etc., which can easily become stuck on one side, noises may often occur.
If a noise is not heard during the spin cycle with an empty tub, the product is operating normally.
Does a vibration occur or is noise heard during the spin cycle?
➔ Check if the washing machine is level.
If the washing machine is not level, the tub is lopsided and noises can easily occur.
Also, if the floor is not solid or is sloped and slippery, the washing machine may move or vibrate more during operation.
Is water supplied during the spin cycle? Does the washing machine return to rinse or repeatedly rinse?
➔ If the laundry is stuck on one side during spinning, water is supplied to operate the unwinding motion in order to level the laundry.
When the unwinding motion operates (up to 2 times), the spin time will increase (by approximately 10 minutes), and when the imbalance issue is solved during operation, the washing machine enters the spin cycle normally.
If the problem recurs continuously, evenly spread the laundry and start the spin cycle again.
