[LG Dryer] The duvet does not dry well.

Troubleshooting

When drying a large duvet, the dryer can't rotate it easily due to its bulkiness with the result that the same area may be dried continuously.

Warning!

Never dry electric blankets and carpets.
It may cause a fire or product damage.
Never dry duvets with animal or vegetable fillings.
It may cause a fire. (Filling: duck down, goose down, wool, cotton wool, etc.)

Try this

Did you put multiple duvets into the dryer?

➔ Please only put in one duvet and run the [Duvet] cycle.

If you try to dry two duvets of different materials, they may not dry properly.
Please only put in one duvet and run the [Duvet] cycle.
Also, for optimal drying performance, ensure that the duvet only fills about half the tub. (For drying duvets)
After checking the duvet material and handling instructions, run the [Duvet] cycle to dry duvets and blankets that can be dried in a dryer.

Did you dry only one duvet, but it still feels damp?

➔ Dry using warm air for an additional 30 minutes using Timed Drying.

Dryness may vary depending on the type and size of the duvet, as well as the dryer’s ability to roll the duvet during drying.
If it’s still damp after drying, turn the duvet over and put it back in the dryer with the damp side facing the dryer door.
Using the Warm Air cycle on Timed Drying, dry it for additional 30 minutes.

If only the outside of a thick duvet is dry, not the cotton filling inside?

➔ Dry using warm air for an additional 30 minutes using Timed Drying.

The inner filling (cotton) in a thick duvet might not dry properly because it is difficult for the humidity sensor to detect the humidity.
For electric dryers, there is a separate cycle for drying duvets, but only single-layer duvets (for spring and summer) or thin bedding such as bed sheets, can be dried.

Does it turn off or stop in the middle of drying?

➔ Run Timed Drying for 40 minutes or longer.

When drying large duvets automatically, humidity levels may not be detected.
Please only put in one duvet for drying at a time.
Also, run Timed Drying for 40 minutes or longer.
