Air is circulated through the filter inside the dryer to control humidity. So, if the filter becomes clogged, drying may not work properly.

Causes and Symptoms

• The humidity sensor is dirty or the dust filter is clogged.
• Thick and thin laundry items have been put in together to dry.
• A cycle that does not match the laundry material is operating.
• There is too much moisture in the laundry.
• The door has been opened during drying, causing the inside temperature of the tub to reduce.
• The ambient temperature of the dryer is low, which increases the preheating time.

Try this

Is there dust or foreign matter on the humidity sensor between the filter and the tub?

➔ If so, gently wipe the humidity sensor with a dry cloth.

If there is dust attached to the humidity sensor on the inside of the filter, remove it and gently wipe the outside of the humidity sensor with a dry cloth.

Is the filter covered with lots of dust?

➔ Regularly clean the filter to ensure smooth ventilation.

It is advised to clean the inner filter after each use of the dryer, and the outside filter after every 10 uses.
After 10 uses, an alarm sounds and a filter cleaning light will illuminate, so cleaning frequency can be easily checked.
After cleaning the filter, dry it completely before putting it back in place.
The drying function may not work properly if moisture remains in the filter.

Cleaning the Filters

1. After cleaning the area around the filter inlet, take out the external and internal filters and unfold them.

2. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any dust that is on the filter, then thoroughly wash it under running water.
Then, dry it in a well-ventilated area.

3. When the external filter is completely dry, press the middle section on the side to close it, insert the internal filter into the external filter, and put it back in place.

Did you run the dryer after putting laundry of different thicknesses into it together?

➔ Gather loads of laundry of similar thickness and fill the dryer only halfway.

Thick laundry may not completely dry if the dryer's humidity sensor touches the thin laundry first and determines that drying is finished.

Did you select the correct cycle for that particular load laundry?

➔ Select a cycle according to the thickness and material of the laundry.

If you have a lot of thick laundry, turn the dial to [Normal] and select [Power] mode from the [Dry Level] menu.
Then, select the [Speed] mode from the [Drying Saving] menu.
Also, depending on the type of laundry, select the [Duvet] cycle for drying duvets and the [Towel] cycle for drying towels.

Did you open the door or press the [Pause] button during drying?

➔ Be careful not to stop the operation whilst drying is in progress.

Shutting down and restarting the dryer may lower the air temperature inside the tub.
The drying process may take up to an hour longer because it will take a while to raise the temperature again.

Is the laundry not properly dried because drying time is lengthened during winter?

➔ It is normal for the dryer to take longer to warm up due to low outside/ambient temperatures.

In colder winter months, warming may take longer due to the lower temperature around the dryer and the laundry.
This will increase the drying time more than initially indicated.
It is similar to heat pump dryers, where it doesn't warm up quickly in the cold winter months even when the boiler is turned on.
