If the central filter is not installed correctly, or is loose or out of its place, washing defects may result.
If the filter is not clean, any food residue inside the filter may cause an unpleasant smell or weaken the washing performance.
Try this
1. Insert the round filter between the grooves of the standing assembly made in the back and the right side respectively.
2. Push the rectangular filter until it will not go in any deeper.
(When installed properly, the filter will have its top surface level and horizontal and will have no gaps around it.)
3. Install the knob of the rectangular filter facing toward the front of the product (where the door is).
4. If any of the round and rectangular filters are missing and you run the machine, contaminants will not be filtered effectively.
How to clean the filter (after every use)
➔ For 12 settings
1. Pull out the basket in the lower part and remove the filter.
Turn the first filter counterclockwise to remove it, and gently pull upward.
2. Remove any dregs collected and wash the contaminated part of the filter in flowing water.
(Do not use excessive force when you wash the filter.)
3. Install the filter in the reverse order of disassembly.
Make sure that installation is done properly before subsequent use.
(Improper installation prevents the filter from collecting dregs, and thus lowers the cleaning performance.)
➔ For 6 settings
1. Taking care not to drop the dregs, pull out the filter, remove the dregs, and wash it clean with water.
2. Insert the round filter into its place ensuring it faces the right direction.
Facing its knob toward the front, push the rectangular filter until it will not go in any deeper.
When installed properly, the filter will normally have its top surface level and horizontal and will have no gaps around it.
