[LG electric range] I’m curious about how to clean the range

Troubleshooting

Is there burnt food on the glass cooktop? Do you wish to remove a foreign object from the glass cooktop?

When the electric range operates, the temperature of the glass cooktop increases so that food boiled over may be burnt and stuck to the cooktop.
At this time, if such foreign objects are not removed and left for a long period of time, the surface of the glass cooktop may be damaged or the touch buttons may not work properly.

Try this

Firmly wipe off the glass cooktop using an electric range cleaner and glass cleaning sponge.

➔ Any hardened foreign object can be removed by scraping it out using a scraper.

Cleaning the electric range
1. Press and hold down the [Power] button of the electric range for 1 second to turn it off, and then check if the glass cooktop has cooled completely.
Press the power button for 1 second to turn off the power and verify that the glass top is cooled
2. Apply an electric range cleaner to the surface of the stain and wait 10 minutes.
Next, wearing gloves, wipe off the stain using a glass cleaning sponge.
Spray the detergent over the stain and wait for about 10 minutes before wiping with a sponge
Warning!

Use only an electric range cleaner or a detergent certified by a German company, Schott and a glass cleaning sponge.
Using a general kitchen detergent or a scrubber or a sponge with a rough surface may damage the surface of the glass cooktop.

3. After wiping it off with the scrubber, remove any remaining hard foreign substances using the scraper included with the product.
At this time, tilt the scraper blade to about 45˚ and gently scrape off the substance from the surface of the glass cooktop.

Warning!

If sticky food such as sugar or starch syrup is spilled and not removed immediately, the pot may stick to the glass cooktop and may not be easily removed.
In such cases, operate the electric range for approximately 1 to 2 minutes to melt any sugar or starch syrup stuck to the bottom of the pot and separate the pot gently from the cooktop.
Removing the pot forcibly may break or scratch the glass cooktop

4. Remove the foreign substance completely and wipe off any detergent/cleaner remaining on the glass top surface with a dry towel.
