If power is not supplied properly to the product, sparks will not be generated.
For power cord applied products, no sparking sounds will be produced if there is no electricity supply.
If there is any foreign substance (food residue or water) on the burner cap or the heat sensing rod, it may not ignite.
To clean away the debris, use an unused toothbrush to brush away any foreign matter such as food scraps.
Try this
Hidden cook and lightwave gas ranges are products that require a power cord to be plugged in in order to operate.
The power cord is located on the back left side of the product (a glass cooktop without a tripod).
Plug other small appliances into the power outlet and check if power is supplied.
If other appliances do not work, it is not a product defect.
For a built-in gas range with a power cord, be sure to wear gloves and hold the sides of the product's top. Lift the front and look underneath the stove top to check that the power cord is plugged into the power outlet.
Plug in another small household appliance to check if electricity is supplied, and then plug in the power cord of the built-in gas range again to check.
If other appliances do not work, it is not a product defect.
Check if the residual current circuit breaker switch has been tripped.
※ If it is difficult to check if there are any problems with the outlet due to the cabinet structure, book a service visit.
Wipe off any debris from the igniter with a dry toothbrush or a dry towel. Clean and dry it thoroughly before re-assembling the burner cap and the burner head.
