Clean the burner cap (black cover) and the burner head (silver support) in the following way.
Try this
If the burner cap (black cover) is dirty
1. If the burner cap is dirty after using the gas range, check if the burner cap has cooled down.
2. If it is cool, separate it from the burner head (silver support).
3. Mix bleach and water in a ratio of 1 to 100. (Caution: Wear protective gloves when mixing)
4. Immerse the burner cap in the mixed liquid or cover the burner cap with a tissue soaked in the mixed liquid.
5. Wait 20 to 30 minutes until the mixed liquid permeates properly.
6. Remove the burner cap and gently wipe off any contaminants using a scrubber or a cloth.
After wiping off, rinse the burner cap with clear water, dry it completely and assemble it to the burner
head.
7. The burner cap is a consumable part, and after a certain period of time of use, it may not be possible to clean it properly.
If the burner head (silver support) is dirty
1. After checking that the burner cap (black cover) has cooled down, lift the burner cap to separate it, and then lift the burner head to separate it as well.
2. Soak the contaminated burner head in warm water at 50℃ to 70℃ thoroughly for 20 to 30 minutes.
3. After that, use a scrubber against the contaminated surface of the removed burner head, wipe it several times while turning it in one direction, and then wash it with clean water.
4. After completely drying the washed burner head, reassemble and use it.
5. The burner head is a consumable part, and after a certain period of time of use, it may not be possible to clean it properly.
※ If the burner cap (black cover) and burner head (silver support) are dirty even after cleaning, replacements can be purchased from a nearby service center.
Hidden cook (electric range), lightwave gas range
Whitened tempered glass left unattended for a long period of time, may be difficult or impossible to clean and remove contaminating substances.
Removing normal foreign objects
1. If the tempered glass of the cooktop is dirty, check that it has cooled down.
2. If it has, wipe the tempered glass of the cooktop evenly using an exclusive glass cleaner and a glass scrubber.
3. Remove foreign objects from the surface of the tempered glass using a scraper.
4. Wipe the tempered glass clean with a dry cloth.
※ If lightly contaminated: Wipe the tempered glass of the cooktop evenly using an exclusive glass cleaner and a glass scrubber.
If sticky food (sugar, starch syrup) is spilled and not removed immediately, the pot may stick to the glass top plate and may not be easily detached.
Since the attached pot needs to be forcibly detached, you may find a scratch on the tempered glass after cleaning it.
1. Do not forcibly detach the pot.
2. Set the heat level of the burner to 9 or the highest level and heat it for about 1 to 2 minutes.
(Because there may be a lot of smoke, operate the range hood with the window opened to ventilate.)
3. After heating, remove the pot wearing rubber gloves, and remove any remaining foreign objects using a scraper.
4. After completely drying the washed burner head, reassemble and use it.
5. The burner head is a consumable part, and after a certain period of time of use, it may not be possible to clean it properly.
