Causes and symptoms

Try this
Check if it is the rated adapter suitable for the model.
➔ Check if the voltage/current rating shown on the bottom of the laptop matches the information in the label attached to the adapter.
※ If you use a 40W adapter for the model intended for 90W or 60W adapters with higher power, charging might fail or the LCD screen can even flicker and so on.
※ Power(W)=Voltage(V) * Current(A). In the above figure, the adapter capacity is 48W(19*2.53).
Check the connection part of the power supply adapter.
➔ Before connecting the 2 pin adapter, make sure to check for looseness in power outlet and laptop connection parts.
➔ Before connecting the 3 pin adapter, make sure to check for looseness in power outlet, power cable and adapter, and laptop connection parts.
※ If the connection is made successfully, the power status lamp will be lit.
On the left side of device in most cases, there is an indication lamp and some models have it next to the power button.
Check the battery life.
Due to long hours of use, if the battery life is about to expire, then charging might fail. In this case, you need to replace the battery.

Check if there is a program that consumes lots of resources.
➔ If you connect multiple devices to the laptop system intended for PD power adapters with USB C type or run multi tasks on it, depending on the system power usage,
the battery charging level will be reduced, thus charging will take longer or fail, or even in worst cases, the system battery can get discharged.

Why the laptop power is suddenly turned off if you remove the adapter while the power is on.
