[LG Air Conditioner Function] [Cooling] The outdoor unit keeps operating even after the target temperature is reached. Indoor temperature drops further

Troubleshooting

As hot air expands, it gets lighter and moves upward, when it gets cold, it contracts and thus becomes heavier and moves downward.
For this reason, the air in the top area where the wall mounted type air conditioner is hanging is rather hot but the air in the bottom space where customers reside is usually colder.

Try this

The sensor that detects the indoor temperature is mounted in the indoor unit thus ending up measuring relatively hot air in the top, and the temperature difference with respect to the bottom floor can be about 1℃~3℃(33.8°F~37.4°F).
The indoor temperature displayed on the remote controller(bottom space temperature) differs from the temperature measured in the actual air conditioner(top space temperature).
The indoor temperature displayed on the remote controller is measured at the location of the remote controller, and it can differ from the temperature measured at the air conditioner.
As the cold air fills up the top area to make the temperature distribution more even, the air conditioner knows that the target temperature is reached and the outdoor unit will operate at minimum level, thus the indoor temperature does not drop any further.

If you select the higher capacity of the air conditioner than the indoor space size, the indoor temperature will go down very quickly and there is danger of overcooling.
