[LG TV LCD/LED] I see images breaking up or coming up with mosaic patterns while using a set-top box

Troubleshooting

When a problem occurs with the set-top box or the communication lines, screen images may appear with mosaic patterns.
The symptom can be addressed by initializing the set-top box.
※ If the problem persists even after initialization, please contact your communications carrier for troubleshooting.

How to initialize a set-top box

1. Turn off your TV using the TV remote.

2. Turn off the power switch on the back of the set-top box, wait for 5 seconds, and turn it on again.

3. If the set-top box does not have a power switch, pull out the power cord, wait for 5 seconds, and put it back on.

4. If the power indicator on the set-top box flickers and then lights up, it indicates it has been initialized.
