[LG TV Noise] I am experiencing high-frequency noise

Troubleshooting

Anomalies with broadcast signals or the TV may lead to noise.
A sound test is a good way to self-test the TV condition. If the test yields a sound of good quality, then it may indicate that the noise is likely due to signals, not the TV itself.
In this case, it is advisable to contact your broadcast service provider for a signal test. (e.g., cable TV, Skylife, IPTV)

Are you experiencing noise in all channels?

➔ Go to [Settings] and start [Sound Test].

Running [Sound Test] in the Settings menu

[2020] WebOS 5.0

Press the Setting button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Support] → [Additional Settings] → [Sound Test].
Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.
After pressing the remote control settings, select the All Settings menu
① Select [Support] and then ② [Additional Settings].
Select Additional Support from Customer Support
③ Select [Sound Test] in [Additional Settings].
Select Acoustic Test in Additional Support
④ Check the sound coming from the TV and respond when prompted.

[Prior to 2019] WebOS 4.5

Press the 설정버튼 이미지 button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Sound] → [Sound Test].

Electrical noise
A high-speed switching circuit that supplies a large amount of current to drive the product may generate subtle electrical noise, the extent of which varies depending on the product.
The noise has nothing to do with product performance or reliability.
