[LG TV Screen] The screen flickers and then no screen appears

Troubleshooting

If the broadcast signal becomes weak, you may experience screen flickering, stuttering, or breaking.
In such cases, it is recommended to contact your broadcast service provider for signal check.

How to identify the digital broadcast signal strength

[2022 WebOS22], [2021 WebOS6.0]

Press the setting button on the TV remote, select [All Settings] → [General] → [Channels] → [Channel Tuning] → [Manual Tuning], and then select the type of connected antenna.

Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.

After pressing the remote control settings, select the All Settings menu

1. Select [Channels] in [General].

4. Select the antenna connected (select Cable TV if you are using cable TV service).

5. You can see the signal strength and quality of the channel you are watching.

How to check signal strength in previous WebOS versions

Press the setting button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Channels] → [Channel Tuning] → [Manual Tuning] → [Cable DTV].

Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.

1. Select [Channels] → [Channel Tuning] → [Manual Tuning] → [Cable DTV]. (Select when using a cable TV)

Select [Channels] → [Channel Tuning] → [Manual Tuning] → [Cable DTV]

2. You can see the signal strength and quality of the channel you are watching.

※ If the signal strength changes by more than 50% or the signal quality changes by more than 30%, it indicates a weak broadcast signal.
In such a case, please contact your property management office or broadcast service provider.
