[LG TV] How to enable ALLM (Automatic Low Latency Mode), Game Optimizer, and Game Dashboard

ALLM [Auto Low Latency Mode] function ALLM uses technology that reduces the delay between game console input and TV output such as in-game sounds and images.

The settings for the ALLM function can be enabled or disabled from the Game Optimizer menu.

To use the Game Optimizer function, ensure that the game console is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and that the external input is set to the game console.

• If some of the Game Optimizer options are not activated, change the TV's picture and sound settings to [Game Optimizer] mode.
• When the Game Optimizer function is enabled, certain TV picture settings cannot be changed.
• The Game Optimizer function is only supported on select models. Please consult the user manual to see verify if your model is supported.
• How to enable Game Optimizer:
  Press the settings button on the remote control, and a reduced menu will appear. Next, proceed through the following steps.
  [All Settings ] - [General] - [Game Optimizer]

You can turn ON/OFF the ALLM function within the Game Optimizer menu.

Game Dashboard

This function allows you to quickly change the game genre during the game and check the settings status.

To use the Game Dashboard function, ensure that the game console is connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and that the external input is set to the game console.

• Change the picture and sound settings to Game Optimizer mode.
• Enable Game Optimizer functions.
• Enable the Game Dashboard function.
• After all settings are complete, press the settings button on the remote control once more to start Game Dashboard.
• You can also change settings within Game Dashboard by pressing All Settings.

Note

• While using the TV and game console together, if you would like to customize the picture quality settings, turn [Off] the ALLM function in settings.
• When ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) is set to [Auto] to increase response speed for input signal from the game console, the picture quality of your LG TV cannot be adjusted. This is to prevent it from operating simultaneously with ALLM.
• Since the settings are different for each model of game console, please check whether the ALLM function can be disabled on your game console.
• Game console menus may change due to updates from the manufacturer.
• How to disable PS 5 [ALLM] function settings:
  [Settings] → [Screen and Video] → [Video Output] → [ALLM] → [Off]
