Why does water leak from inside? (Side-by-side/Standard refrigerator)
■ Water leak > Water leakage from inside
1. One of the common causes would be a food container with lid slightly open; content in the container might have leaked.
2. If you put hot food directly into a refrigerator, the steam from the food will condense into water if it meets the cold air from the refrigerator.
3. Water can also leak when the door is not completely closed in summer.
1. Store food with high level of moisture in sealed containers and cool down hot food before placing it in the freezer.
2. When too much food is stored in the refrigerator or shelves are relocated, warm air can enter leading to condensation. Please make sure that the door is firmly closed.
3. Wipe off condensation or frost with a washcloth soaked in warm water.
