LG refrigerator - temperature control.


To verify if the refrigerator is at the correct temperature, check the temperature label located on the left wall of the refrigerator or on the left side of the crisper drawer.


  • Normal Temperature : If the blue color of the label is dark and the letters are clear (as shown in the picture), the refrigerator section is at the correct temperature.
  • Weak Cold Air : If the blue color appears light, it indicates that the cold air is weak and the refrigerator may not be at the proper temperature.

     Using the Express Freeze Function

To quickly lower the temperature, use the [Express Freeze] button.

  • Purpose : The Express Freeze function rapidly cools the entire freezer, making it ideal for freezing large amounts of food at once.

      How to Activate:

  1. Unlock the Display : Press and hold the [Unlock] button for more than 3 seconds to unlock the settings.
  2. Activate Express Freeze : Press the [Express Freeze] button. The display will light up, and the freezer will begin freezing at a lower temperature.
  3. Automatic Turn-Off : The Express Freeze function will automatically turn off after 3 hours.
