Causes and Symptoms
- No power supply to the air conditioner.
- The product display shows an error code.
If you are unable to turn on the power using the button on the main body, then it might be an issue with the
power supply.
If the power supply is properly connected, then the air conditioner will generate the power connection
signal sound like ‘ringing’ or ‘beeping’.
Try this
Unplug the power cord of air conditioner and plug in other electronics such as s drier.
If other products operate ok, then inspect the air conditioner.
If your product is a model with the hidden power cord, check the dedicated circuit breaker for the air conditioner.
The dedicated circuit breaker for an air conditioner is near the shoe shelf on the front door of your house,
and the circuit breaker is marked with Air Conditioner, or A/C.
Trip the circuit breaker, and then reset it.
If you are using the product with a power strip, then insert it directly into the wall outlet to check it.
You are not recommended to use a power strip since it is a model that uses high power consumption.
If you must use a power strip, then make sure it is at least 16A-250V.
Press the forced operation switch for the wall mounted type product.
If you long press it, it will operate in test operation mode lasting for about 18 minutes until the product is stopped.
Check if the error code or the LED lamp is blinking regularly on the product display.
If an error code or inspection code is displayed, check it correctly and proceed with self remedies or product inspection services.
The second LED indicates error at 10’s digit.
Eg) The first LED blinking five times at regular interval stands for error CH5.
