LG Rangehoods automatically activate and turn off in sync with LG Induction Cooktops via ThinQ®, so you can focus on cooking while smart connectivity takes care of the rest. The ThinQ® app lets you monitor each burner and timer, and keep tabs on your total usage daily, weekly, or monthly.

This image is segmented. On the left is the standard mode of the induction hob, and there is a pot on each burner. On the right is the boost function of the induction hob, and there is one pot on two burners. From the pot, you can see meat dishes that cooked over high heat so dishes are steaming.
To help prevent accidental burns, LG Induction Cooktops come with residual heat indicator lights that turn on when the surface is hot and stay on until it cools down.
Use the child safety lock to keep your little ones from unintentionally turning on the Induction Cooktop.

Is an induction Cooktop better than gas?
Seamlessly blending style and technology, our LG induction cooktops differ from gas cooktops by focusing heat towards the bottom of the cookware only. This technology ensures quick, even heating from start to finish. Boasting safe operation features and smooth electronic controls, LG's versatile induction cooktops accomodate larger pots, with a single glass pane design that can easily be wiped clean.
How do I install an LG cooktop?
You must engage a qualified electrician to complete the installation of your LG Cooktop, in accordance with the Owner Manual. Incorrect installation by a non qualified electrician may result in product not working properly, failure or safety risk.
Does the LG Cooktop have a high performance mode?
The LG Oven's Boost function is used to further increase the maximum power delivered by each cooking zone or a combination of cooking zones in Flexi Mode. For example, a zone at power level 15 delivers 2kW, however with the Boost function it reaches a maximum of 3.7kW. The Boost function allows you to rapidly boil water or heat pans.
Does the Cooktop have any child safety features?
To prevent your children from inadvertently turning on the induction Cooktop, just hold down the lock button for 3 seconds. This turns the child lock on which disables all controls and helps the safety of your family. If you are already cooking something on one zone, the power slider still remains active, but you will not be able to turn on other zones. LG induction cooktops are also equipped with 2-stage residual heat indicators and automatic safety shut-off function.
Is the heat from the Cooktop dangerous?
The induction technology ensures heat is only transferred from the cooktop to the cookware. This means that the bottom of the cookware can heat the top glass to a potentially dangerous temperature. To help prevent accidental burns, LG Induction Cooktops come with 2-stage residual heat indicator lights that turn on when the surface is hot and stay on until it cools down.
