[LG top load washing machine water leak] Water leaks to the floor during washing.

Troubleshooting

When the water supply hose is connected incorrectly or a water leak occurs at the connection, water may run down the hose and look like it's leaking onto the floor.
The drain hose may be clogged or water may leak from the drain hose connection.

Try this

Does water leak around the water supply hose or the drain hose?

➔ Assemble the water supply hose again after turning off the faucet, and push the drain hose in until the gray spring is no longer visible.

If the water supply hose and the drain hose are not fully fastened or misaligned, water may leak from the connection.

Wait! Here are more tips
If an extended drain hose is used, water may leak from the hose extension connection.
If water leaks from the connection, wrap insulating tape around the leaking area.

Does water collect on the floor and flow to the drain slowly?

➔ Remove the drain hose from the drain and run the Rinse+Spin cycle.

If the drain is clogged, water may flow backwards, collect on the floor and drain slowly when water is drained.
If water collects on the floor in the same way when you remove the drain hose from the drain and run the Rinse+Spin cycle, the product is operating normally.
If the drain is clogged, contact a plumbing/sewer company.

Did water splash on the floor?

➔ When washing a laundry item which tends to float, such as a duvet or a puffer jacket, using the Normal cycle

When washing a bulky laundry item which tends to float, such as a duvet or a puffer jacket using the Normal cycle, strong currents of water may collide with the laundry item and water may splash to the outside of the machine.
Use the Bedding course for bulky laundry items such as duvets and the Functional Cloth cycle for items which tend to float.
At this time, when water has collected, press the [Start/Pause] button to stop the washing machine, push the laundry item so that it is submerged in water completely, and then run the washing machine.
If water does not leak when you set water level 5 and run the Normal cycle with an empty tub with no laundry, the product is operating normally.

Select the appropriate course and press the laundry to completely submerge it (Course : Bedding, Functional Clothing / Push the laundry so that it is submerged in water completely and run the machine.)
Note
Strong current is a function applied to 6-motion applied models.

➔ If the set water level is too high (if a lot of water is collected)

If the water level is high, water may splash and leak to the outside when the laundry and water collide during the washing cycle.
Adjust the water level.

Setting the washing machine water height

➔ If bubbles are generated and flow over during washing cycles

When a lot of detergent is used, a lot of bubbles may be generated and overflow.
Bubbles that overflow may appear to be a water leak, so use only the recommended amount of detergent as indicated on the detergent packaging.

Recommended Washing Detergent Usage

Does a large amount of water drain to the floor during draining?

➔ If the drain hose has come out of the drain, a large amount of the water to be drained may flow onto the floor.

In particular, if the drain is located at the rear or to the side of the washing machine, a drain hose which comes out of the drain may not be easily visible, so if a large amount of water does escape onto the floor, ensure that the drain hose is reinserted into the drain completely.
