When connecting a DVI-to-HDMI cable, the output should be in DVI format. However, if the PC output is made to a virtual HDMI, no sound will be produced even if it is connected to an RGB or DVI audio input port on the TV.

Removing the HDMI cable will produce sound.
1. If the output format of the graphics card is HDMI, check the graphics card manufacturer.
2. If the output format of the graphics card is DVI, check the PC/TV product.

When using a DVI cable
➔ Connect the HDMI [Input] port on the back of the TV and the DVI [Output] port on the back of the computer.
1. Use a DVI (PC) to HDMI (TV) cable.
2. Connect the audio port as well.
3. Make sure that the connection is secure.
TV external input selection: Select External Input on the TV remote and select HDMI.
When using an HDMI cable
➔ Connect the input port on the back of the TV with the output port on the side of the laptop.
1. HDMI cables are video- and audio-enabled, so they require no additional audio cable connection.
2. If there is no sound after connecting via HDMI, please contact the PC manufacturer (or graphics card manufacturer), as the HDMI port on the PC may not output audio.
