Causes and Symptoms
- The cable connected to the external device has a problem.
- The sound works okay, but the screen does not.
Try this
Have you tried adjusting the volume with the TV remote?
➔ If the volume display appears properly, the issue may not lie with the TV itself,
but with an external device or cable. Please check the connections of the external devices and cables.
If you are using a public broadcast antenna or cable TV broadcast antenna directly connected to the antenna
port at the back of the TV,
it is recommended that you first request your property management office or cable TV service provider for an
inspection.
Reconnecting the HDMI cable
Turn off the power of the TV and external device, disconnect the HDMI cable on the back of the TV, and
reconnect it.
Also, remove the HDMI cable from the external device and reconnect it, if feasible.
It is recommended to use an authentic HDMI cable to connect your TV with the external device. (Version 2.0)
Resetting the set-top box
If you can see the set-top box menu or broadcast information but the broadcast screen does not appear, reset the power of the set-top box.
Set-top box errors may result in no screen even when the device is powered on.
Turn off the power switch on the back of the set-top box, wait for 5 seconds, and turn it on again.
