[LG top load washing machine - water supply] Water supply stopped during washing.

Troubleshooting

Your washing machine detects the weight of your laundry to ensure efficiency in washing that fits the load.
At this time on some courses and water levels, secondary weighing (detecting the weight of wet laundry) may operate.
After detecting the weight of wet laundry, the second weighing supplies only a small amount of water.
Then it wets the laundry by spinning the tub fast and then slowly spins the washtub without water supply while weighing the laundry.
In this process it may seem that washing is not normally performed but it is a normal process to ensure efficiency in washing.

Primary weighing

Weighs your dry laundry and determines the initial water level and the wash time.
Pressing the Start button will spin the tub without water supply and weigh the load.

Secondary weighing

Weighs the wet laundry again so as to enhance the precision of washing following primary weighing.
This is activated in a specific course and at a set water level, sensing the weight of the load spinning with only a small amount of water without full water supply.
Upon completion of the secondary weighing, water supply is resumed until water reaches the predetermined level, then washing proceeds normally.
