[LG styler - How to use] I want to know how to use the styler

Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • I want to know how to use the styler.

LG Styler is a new concept clothing manager that removes dirt/odors/wrinkles and sterilizes and dries your clothes by using steam.

Try this

How to use the styler

1. Fully fill the water dispenser located at the bottom of the styler with clean water.
A whole bucket of water will be needed if this is the first time you are using the styler.

2. Empty any water from the drain tray.

3. Remove the aroma sheet from the left bottom of the styler and put in the aroma sheet.

Note
You can control the opening by using the adjusting lever of the aroma sheet. [The wider it is opened, the richer the aroma will be.]

4. Ensure that buttons or zippers in your clothes are all fastened to avoid them being detached.

5. Ensure that the clothes hangers are tightly fitted into place.

Note
Wrongly placed hangers may cause a noise, so, make sure that they are positioned and hung correctly.

6. Press the power button and select the cycle you want.
After selecting the cycle, press the Start button to run your machine.

7. When the cycle is complete, open the door to ventilate your styler.
As your styler uses steam, it may leave condensed water droplets on the wall.

Wait! Here are more tips
Regularly remove dust from the dust filter.
A filter clogged with dust may degrade machine performance.

How to use trouser hangers

1. Fold down the hook of the trouser hanger and open the clip.

2. Secure the trouser cuffs with the clip and raise the hook of the trouser hanger.

3. Hang your trousers straight in the wrinkle remover.

4. Select one of the three trouser hangers holders that fits the length of your pants.

5. Stretch and hold your pants tightly.

6. Performance may be degraded if your trousers are not held tightly and stretched.

Cautions regarding the use of power strips

Use a dedicated power strip for the machine.
If it is used with heating devices of high electric capacity, the circuit breaker may trip.

Cautions regarding using the water dispenser

Wash the water dispenser with water only.
Detergent or a fabric softener entering the water dispenser may cause a product malfunction.

Don't put detergent in the water bottle

Notification of changes in the time for the Normal cycle

The normal cycle resets the time for operation to meet the humidity detected by the product’s sensor.
The remaining time may change during operation. This is normal and not a product defect. So, there is no cause for concern.

How to store empty clothes hangers
Keep the empty clothes hangers upside down on the rack.
If you run the machine with empty clothes hangers hung inside, they may hit the wall or fall down to the bottom.
