[LG Front load washing machine noise] There is a rattling, dragging noise during washing

Troubleshooting

The front load washing machine is designed to rotate the tub 360 degrees and use its wings to lift and drop the fabric to pound it for cleaning.
Therefore, solid parts such as buttons and zippers on clothing may fall and make noises.
Foreign objects (coins, keys, hair pins, memory wires) may collide with the tub and create clicking noises.

Try this

Be sure to remove any foreign objects from the laundry before washing.

To prevent damage to the laundry tub and reduce noise, fasten zippers and buttons and then flip them inside out before washing.
For clothing with accessories, make sure it is a machine washable material, and check the label on such garments for instructions on how to launder them safely.

※ Please be aware that accessories attached to clothes may damage other clothing.

How to remove wires

1. Check the inside of the laundry tub thoroughly.
2. If the inside of the tub is not clearly visible, use a stocking in the palm of your hand or wear a glove and slowly skim the surface of the tub to remove anything that might be stuck there. (Remove wires by twisting them with your hands or by plucking with pliers.)
