Does a dE (Door Error) appear on the display and does the washing machine not operate or does it stop during operation?
If a large load of laundry has been added so that the laundry is caught in between the door and glass or if the door sags due to long-term use, the door may not close.
If you operate the washing machine without closing the door completely, errors such as [de, dE1, dE2] occur and the washing machine does not operate properly.
Try this
Is laundry caught in between the door gasket and the door glass?
Push the laundry into the machine completely so that the laundry is unable to protrude out of the door and close the door.
If the laundry is caught in between the door gasket and the door, the door won’t close and a dE error may be indicated.
Did you close the door by pushing the top or the bottom of the door?
Close the door by pushing the center of the door handle on the right.
Since the washing machine door lock is located near the door handle on the right, you must push the center of that handle to close and lock the door easily.
Does the door sag?
The door may not close if it sags.
If the door sags, lift the door up and close it.
If you have pushed the top of the door to close it or you have hung a duvet or clothes on the door for a long period of time, the door may sag.
If repair is necessary, it is recommended that it is checked by a service technician.
If the door gasket is damaged or separated, register a request for LG service.
