Check the screen brightness setting.
If the screen brightness is set to 50% or 0%[Off], then the font on the display might look pale or not
visible at all.

Adjusting the screen brightness
➔ You can set the screen brightness with the remote control.
※ There is no separate button on the product body.
Press the [Light] button.
Each time you press the button, the screen brightness of the display toggles in the order of: 100% → 50% →
0%[Off].
When the screen brightness is set to 100% or 50%, if you turn off and on the air conditioner, the screen
brightness will remain at the previous setting.
But when the screen brightness is set to 0%[Off], if you turn off and on the air conditioner, then the
screen brightness will return to 100%.
