If it is not possible to select the cooling mode or the heating mode with the cable remote control, or beep sounds five times when selecting the cooling mode or the heating mode with the wireless remote control, it is an error of simultaneous operation of the cooling/heating modes, not defect or failure of the product.
※ Error of simultaneous operation of both of the cooling and the heating modes: If multiple indoor units are connected to a single outdoor unit, 1 or 2 indoor units may operate in the cooling mode, even if the product operates in the heating mode.

Check if there is any indoor unit in operation mode different from those of other indoor units connected to an
outdoor unit together, and
match operation of the units to the cooling or the heating mode.
If it is hard to identify operation mode of other indoor units, the heating mode or the cooling mode, turn all
the indoor units off with the remote control, and select desired operation of your room.
The reason is that all of all of the indoor units connected to a single outdoor unit run in a single mode,
cooling or heating.
