Troubleshooting

For the ultrafine plus filter (HAF filter), static charging method is used for collecting dust to the largest extent for air cleaning. Static may be felt on the product during operation.
This is not a product defect, and normal condition of the product function operation principle.

Principle of air cleaning
The dust collecting ionizer on the rear side of the product generates anions for static charging of dusts, which are adhered on the filter, and then collected.

Cause of static

The dust collection ionizer generates anions, and dusts are static charged around the filter.
Static is felt when touching static charged filter with the hand or a piece of metal due to electric potential.

Try this

Locate the position of the dust collection ionizer of each model.

The dust collection ionizers are installed on the models certified of CAC only.
Static is generated on the rear side of the product during the air cleaning mode, and attracts dusts from the air. When your hand touches the product at this moment, you will feel throbbed.
There is no risk of electric shock, but you will momentarily feel uneasy. Pay attention not to touch the product while it runs.

Note
The maximum electric charge on the filter is 4.97 μC, which far lower than the regulatory standard of 45 μC, and the charge is discharged in a very short moment, and does not cause risk of electric shock.
