[LG Dryer condenser cleaning] [Electric heater] The condenser cleaning display appears.

Troubleshooting

Applicable model: heater type dryer

You can remove the condenser by opening the cover on the lower left of the machine.
A condenser is a device that removes moisture from the laundry.
In order to maintain the performance of the dryer, it must be kept clean at all times to prevent the buildup of foreign matter.
Clean the condenser once every 3 months, or when the [Clean condenser] indicator on the display window illuminates.

Try this

The condenser is located on the lower left side inside the dryer.
After removing the outer cover, unfasten the (2) locking hooks and remove the inner cover to separate it from the machine.

Condenser cleaning method
1. Turn off the power and pull out the plug.
2. Open the waterproof cover with a coin or a screwdriver (bottom left front of the machine).
Unplug it and open the waterproof cover
3. Unscrew the condenser lock.
4. Turn the lock to open the waterproof cover.

Warning!

→ Close the waterproof cover properly and assemble the condenser in the correct direction.
Incorrect assembly of the waterproof cover and condenser may result in poor drying performance or water leakage.

→ Be sure to lock the lock.
If the locking device is unlocked, moisture inside the machine may leak and cause water leakage or condensation on the display window.
