[LG dryer drainage] I would like to replace the drain hose.

Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • The drain hose is contaminated, crushed and/or damaged.

Try this

You can replace the drain hose. (The location of the drain hose may vary depending on the model.)

➔ Purchase a flexible drain hose extension in order to replace the drain hose. (Same as the drain hose.)

(Log onto the homepage → Products/Consumables → Maintenance products/Consumables → Dryer → Flexible drain hose extension)

1. The location of the drain hose connector may vary depending on the model.
Check the connector, and pull and separate the connected drain hose by hand.

2. Connect the replacement drain hose to the separated connection.
Push the hose fully to the end so that it will not fall out.

If located at the back of the side (8Kg/9Kg)

Warning!
  • If the location to install the dryer is small or two machines are stacked, you will need help from an LG service technician.
  • Arrange the drain hose before installation so that it will not be kinked or twisted.
(Otherwise, the OE/DRN/Empty Water error may occur because water is unable to drain.)
  • When replacing the drain hose, wear gloves to prevent accidents.
