Causes and Symptoms
- The duvet will not dry with the duvet cycle.
- The duvet is not completely dried with the duvet cycle.
Duvets, compared to regular clothing, take up more space in the drum due to their larger volume. Therefore, there may be areas where warm air does not reach on the duvet, (the inside of the duvet rather than the outside of the duvet, corners, etc.) which may cause unsatisfactory drying.
Try this
1. Make sure to select a duvet cycle and put only one duvet in it to dry.
2. If there are areas of the duvet which are not completely dry, turn the duvet over so that the damp areas are facing the back of the drum, and then dry for an additional hour using the warm air cycle.
3. When drying large volume duvets (duvets for spring/autumn/winter), dry them using the hot air cycle, set the eco-drying option to speed for more than 2 hours, then proceed with the drying.
It is not recommended that you use a dryer for duvets containing animal plumage (duck, goose feathers, etc.).
