[LG Monitor Screen] The monitor screen is shaking

Troubleshooting

If the monitor setting screen is shaking, you need to have it inspected by an LG Electronics technician.

Causes and Symptoms

  • The power related part and the PC/signal cable connections are poor.
  • Monitor's recommended resolution/frequency setting is changed.

① At the bottom center of the product, press the Joystick button to open the main menu.

② Move to the right to select [Settings].

➔ Check if internal metal pins are bent or there are alien substances and if so, replace it with an authentic cable.

Did you check the monitor setting to see if the DFC/SES functions are activated?

If the DFC or SES function is activated, then the screen might blink as a result.

DFC and SES functions descriptions
  • DFC(Digital Fine Contrast) : Depending on the screen, the brightness is automatically adjusted.
  • SES(SMART ENERGY SAVING): This is the energy saving function.

➔ Deactivating the SES(SMART ENERGY SAVING) function.

① At the bottom center of the product, press the Joystick button to open the main menu.

② Move to the right to select [Settings].

⑤ Select [Off] to deactivate the function.
