Troubleshooting

Causes and Symptoms

  • Screen brightness/contrast is set too low.
  • Night mode is turned on in Windows 10.
  • PC graphics card setting is changed.
  • HDR function is turned on in Windows 10.

Try this

Did you reset the monitor setting?

➔ Due to the change in the monitor setting, it might look dark, so reset the monitor.

※ Menus may differ by model, so please refer to the user guide for details.

1. Press the joystick button.

2. Move to the right to select [Settings].

Press the joystick button to go to [Settings] in the main menu and select [General].

3. In [General], select [Reset to Initial Settings] and press [OK] to reset it.

Did you try to change the screen brightness?

➔ Depending on the monitor condition, the screen might look dark, so try to change the brightness/contrast level.

Did you try to change the PC graphics card setting?

➔ Due to the error in gamma/brightness in the PC graphic setting, it might get little darker, so revert it to default.

※ The method for change varies depending on the version of Windows, the type of graphics card and the version of driver.

NVIDIA graphic card gamma/brightness adjustment

1. Right click on your desktop and select [NVIDIA Control Panel].

1. In the input window at the left bottom of background, select [Intel] and run [Intel Graphics Control Panel].
If the [Intel Graphics Control Panel] menu is not displayed, then install [Intel Graphic Driver].

➔ When the HDR function is enabled in Window 10, the screen color might feel strange and the brightness can get reduced.
