[LG Laptop Hotkey] Fn hotkey does not work

Using the hotkeys on the laptop, you can easily run some functions or change settings. Also, you can easily adjust the brightness or volume.
Before you can use the hotkeys, you must install the LG On Screen Display3(OSD3) program first.

Try this

Is the LG On Screen Display3(OSD3) program installed?

Check if the program is installed by referring to the following.

① In the input window at the left bottom of the screen, search for [Program] and select [Add or remove program].

② In [App & features], check if the [LG On Screen Display3] program is installed.

Is HotkeyManager [Disabled]?

➔ In the start program, set HotkeyManager to [Enabled].

① Right-click on the [Start] button at the bottom left of the screen and select [Task Manager].

② In [Task Manager] → [Start Program], switch the [HotkeyManager] status from [Disabled] → [Enabled].
※ If in simple mode, then click the [Detail] button.

Is the Hot Key operation setting set to [Hotkeys First]?

➔ In system settings of LG Control Center, enable [Function Key First].

① In the input window at the left bottom of the screen, find and select [LG Control Center].
※ You can press the [Fn] + [F1] hotkeys on the keyboard to run LG Control Center app as well.

② In [LG Control Center] → [System Setting] → [Hot Key Operation Setting], switch from [Hotkey First] → [Function Key First].
