Can you help me find a product?
A.
  • You can browse our product offerings on LG Electronics SA using two easy methods:

    · Search for products by entering a few words in the search bar found near the top of any page on the website. Enter the type of product e.g. microwave, fridge. View the search results and select the product you are looking for.

    · You can also use the category menu to find specific products across different categories, like TVs, Audio/Video, Home Appliances and more.

     

    With both methods, you can refine your search results by using the various filters.

Can you give me more information on a product?

  • You can find details for each product on the product page. This can be found in the Specs and Key Features sections of the page. This will include features as well as specifications which will provide you with dimensions and various other information pertaining to the product.

How to register on lg.com/za
A.
  • Registering on lg.com/za is easy. To get started you’ll need an email address and a mobile contact number.

    Your password must be a combination of more than 8 characters with at least 3 of these components: upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters.

Changing or resetting your password
A.
  • To change your password, go to My Account and click on Personal Details, then edit my profile button and complete the fields.

    If you forgot your password, you can click on Forgot Password? on the Login page.

    Enter your account email address and we’ll send instructions to that email address on how to create a new password.

When will the item I want be in stock?
A.
  • All out-of-stock products will be restocked as soon as more stock becomes available. You can add an out-of-stock product to your wish list to be notified when it is back in stock by clicking Add to Wishlist on the product page of the specific product.

How do I unsubscribe from your email newsletters?

  • To update your newsletter preferences, go to My Account and click on “View details”. You can update and manage your subscriptions by ticking the “Receipt of marketing messages” tick box.

Do I need to register to make a purchase?

  • Creating an account on lg.com/za is mandatory for all purchases. This offers two primary benefits:

    1. Order Tracking: Once registered, you gain access to a dedicated "My Account" page where you can conveniently track the status of your orders anytime.
    2. Exclusive Offers: Registered users have the privilege of enjoying exclusive discounts and promotions, potentially saving you money on your LG purchases.

Can I change the product I ordered?

  • It is not possible to make changes to the product once the order has been placed – You must cancel the existing order and then place a new order via the website. Please see the cancellation section under “Order Changes” in our FAQ. For detailed information, you can contact customer services at (customer service number).

How can I order?

    1. Select the product you want to buy and click the "Add to Cart" button.
    2. Choose to continue shopping or click "Proceed to checkout". When you're done shopping, click "Your Cart" and then "Proceed to checkout".
    3. Fill in all required information for delivery and follow the payment instructions. You will receive an email confirming your order.

How can I track my order?

  • Please contact LG Electronics SA Customer Support through our website, email, WhatsApp, or phone number (details available on our Contact Us page). We will then provide instructions on how to track the status of your order.

Can I request the delivery address change of my order?

  • If your order requires an address change, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible at (0800 545454). Although we make every effort to change the shipping address after purchase we cannot provide any guarantees.

Can I change a product I ordered?

When will I get my refund?

  • In case of cancellation or exercise of your right of withdrawal to reject the product(s), you will receive your refund within 14 days from the date on which we receive your notification of withdrawal as per our refund policy, using the same payment method you used during your purchase. Please note that the products will be inspected upon receipt. Cancellation or return when you exercise your right, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund depending on the condition of the product. If you exercise your right of return, we will also examine the condition of the product to ensure that there is no physical damage.

How will my product be returned?

  • If you have exercised your right of cancellation/return, we will process the return by courier. Therefore, you will receive notification from the courier on behalf of LG Electronics SA. We do not accept returns of any product(s) sold as part of a package unless the package is returned in its entirety.

What if there is a fault with my product?
A.
  • You can exercise your right of return within 6 months from the delivery date by filling out the contact form on the return request page on the website. After your request is received, a 'return request confirmation e-mail' will be sent to you. If your product malfunctions after delivery, please contact our Customer Services team at (0800 545454) and they will assist you.

How can I cancel an order?
A.
  • You may cancel an order at any time before it is picked for shipping at our warehouse.  To cancel your order, you must log into your account on the Online Store, find your order and, if the ‘cancel order’ button appears, click the ‘cancel order’ button and follow any further prompts required to confirm the cancellation.  Once your order has been picked at our warehouse, the order cannot be cancelled and the ‘cancel order’ button will not appear.  However, after delivery, a ‘change of mind’ return may be available.  For cancelled orders, we will usually make any refunds using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase, as soon as practicable after the order is cancelled.

Is there a fee for delivery?

    Please note that if you are unavailable to receive your delivery on the agreed-upon date, you will be responsible for any additional delivery costs associated with a rescheduled attempt.

    Standard Installation Fees for Other Products:

    For products outside our premium range, LG Electronics SA offers professional installation services for an additional fee.

How is product delivery done?

  • Product deliveries and inspections will be carried out by LG Electronics SA authorized delivery couriers.

Q.
What should I do if the courier cannot find me at home during delivery?
A.
  • If the courier fails the delivery attempt, they will send you a notification that they attempted delivery along with the number to arrange a later delivery at an additional cost to you.

Q.
What should I do if the products I ordered arrive damaged?
A.
  • If the product's packaging is damaged during delivery, it is recommended to open the product and check the contents in the presence of the cargo officer; If the product is damaged, we recommend that you refuse the delivery. If a product is found to be damaged/defective immediately after delivery, you can request a refund via the website. If you encounter any problems with the delivery of your product or the condition of your product upon delivery, you must notify us immediately after delivery so that we can investigate this for you.

Can I change the payment method for an order?

  • The payment method cannot be changed once the payment is made in the LG Online Store. To change the payment method for an order, you must cancel the order and create a new order.

How to get a copy of the invoice?

  • After payment has been made, the invoice for your order will be sent via e-mail to you.

Your refund policy
A.
    • For purchases made on LG.com/za, you have 14 days from the date we receive the cancellation notice to change your mind and receive a full refund. Please note that a refund may take up to 14 days from the time we receive your order and will be issued using the same payment method you used to make your purchase.
    • Please note Goods will be checked upon delivery. When you exercise your right to cancel (i.e. change your mind), we reserve the right to issue a partial refund depending on the condition of the product. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will also examine the condition of the product to ensure that there is no physical damage.

Coupon codes & discounts

  • There are two types of discounts offered at LG Electronics SA:

    • a coupon with a fixed amount of a discount, e.g. R100 off
    • a percentage discount, e.g. 10% off product retail price

    Coupons have specific terms and conditions regulating when and how they may be used, such as minimum spend, qualifying product purchases and the expiry date.

    How it works

    • Each Coupon can only be used once;
    • Only one Coupon can be used per order;
    • Only one Coupon can be used on the website per person per promotion/campaign;
    • Coupons cannot be used to buy Coupons, and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit.
    • If you choose to cancel or return an item and you paid using a coupon discount, you will be reissued a new coupon to the value of the discount paid when using your coupon during checkout.
Q.
Deleting my account or personal information

  • To permanently delete your LG.com/za account and personal information:

    1. Go to My Profile
    2. Click on the “Delete my LG”
    3. Enter your password and click “OK”

    Once your account has been deleted, it will no longer be accessible and cannot be restored.

POPIA and compliance

  • “POPIA” refers to the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013. The purpose of this act is to promote the protection of your personal information and to introduce certain conditions to establish minimum standards for how your personal information is handled by organisations.

    “Personal information” is any information that can be used to identify you. This includes your name and surname, mobile telephone number, home address and email address.

    Lg.com/za is fully compliant with its obligations as set out in POPIA. Should you have any concerns about how we process your personal information please refer to our Privacy Policy.

    The Information Regulator is the authority responsible for overseeing the enforcement and implementation of POPIA. Whilst we encourage you to give us an opportunity to resolve your privacy concerns, if you have a complaint regarding how your personal information is processed you can also raise your complaint directly with the Information Regulator.     Following the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) regulations regarding international data transfers, your personal information is securely stored using appropriate safeguards.

    We maintain your personal data for the duration of your customer relationship with us, in accordance with legal requirements and our internal data retention policies.
